We took a spontaneous trip to Mark's parents' home in Union City, TN this weekend. Mark received a 4 day pass for passing the Audie Murphy board, so we took advantage since the kids were out of school on Friday & Monday anyway. We had a really great time & here are a few pics from while we were there.
Whenever we go to Mark's mom's home it always feels like we've booked a room at a quaint country bed & breakfast. The beds are all made up & turned down, with a basket of goodies laid out for us to enjoy. It's such a nice thing to have after you've traveled 4 hours with 5 kids in the car.
And when at Granny's house, you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want. Boy the kids sure like that!!
