Will you go out with me?

Mark's mom came to visit before Mark left for Officer School & she offered a free day of babysitting so we could go out. It worked out perfectly because the Kentucky State Fair was going on in Louisville & there just happened to be a free concert we wanted to see that night. It was Shinedown with Guests, Rev Theory. Shinedown is actually quite popular right now with a song on the Top 20 Billboard Charts, I'm sure you've heard it if you have turned on your radio in the last 3 months or so. It's called Second Chance. If you haven't heard it, google it. It's worth a listen.

So, of course you have to start with fair food. We opted for the corn dogs with mustard. $4.00 for a corn dog, $4.00 for a corn dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rev Theory. They came out & blasted it! I was kind of taken back for a while, but got used to it by the second song. The lead singer is kind of hot, hahaha. He's got the whole heavy metal lead singer type style with rippling muscles & tatoos to go with it!! I kept teasing Mark asking him when he thought the guy would take his shirt off. And on the last song, he did! Woo Wee!

It's so hard taking pictures at a concert in the dark. But, this is Shinedown. The singer really liked his little platform thingie. They were GREAT though & Mark & I were standing up & rocking out the entire time. It was So......Much..........Fun!!! Thank you Granny for giving us the chance to rock it out together! next time you're coming with us!!!!
