Light Up Louisville

We are always looking for something new & exciting to see or do, so when we saw an advertisement for Light Up Louisville we braved the 30 degree weather & jotted downtown Louisville to see what we could see. We just barely caught the tail end of the parade, but we did enjoy some yummy, (highly overpriced) food from the vendors & we walked through a few booths featuring homemade gifts & crafts to buy & we also enjoyed several performances from local artists, choirs & schools. Later on in the evening Santa made his big arrival & shortly after they lit up the skies not only with holiday lights, but also with fireworks!! It was well worth the wait & the cold.
