Apparently, in Kentucky, ladybugs, Asian ladybugs to be exact, like to invade the outside of your home searching for small cracks & crevices to make into their winter home. They don't carry disease & they don't do any harm, they don't even breed indoors while visiting, but they are a tad annoying. We went out this morning to come home to a multitude of these ladybugs flying all over the front of our house. They are crawling in between our window panes & a few have managed to find a way inside. Isabelle was so excited when she spied one she ran to get her bug box & even put a few leaves in it hoping the ladybug would just jump right in. Then Mark took her outside & she was amazed at all the possibilities of capturing just one to live in her bug box for just one minute, hahaha.Monday, November 12, 2007
