Starter's poised. The alarm goes off! Mom is up, no she's down, OH - she's up! Gives the crying baby a bottle, darts downstairs, gives a nudge to Isabelle. She's coming around, give her another nudge. She's UP! Mom moves over, gives a push to Mavaney - Get up! Gotta get going! First Day of School! Mom rounds the bend to give Noah a headstart, oh he needs it, he's a slow one today. Okay, Isabelle needs helps getting dressed! Go! Go! Go Mom! The clock is ticking, can't miss the bus!! Shirt, pants, socks, shoes, GET THOSE CURLERS OUT! The hair Mom, the hair, it's still wet! Oh no, curls are a goner, okay, let's move on, Mavaney cuts the corner - Mav can't find her shoes. Noah, Noah! Hurry Up! Teeth! Get those teeth brushed. They're confused, but we haven't eaten anything they cry! Mom prods them on, gotta brush em' anyway! Food is supplied after the race! Mavaney! Your hair! Curled or not curled? Headband, barrettes? Mav decides to skip the curling, Mom moves on, Isabelle, supply money - check, you're good - GO! Mav changes her mind, needs the curling done after all - Mom backs up, what about Noah? - water on the hair, gel on the hair, Noah wants it spiked just in the front - Perfect - Noah rounds the corner to get his backpack - He's good!! Mavaney - SHOES! She's lost her shoes again - how can this have happened twice already - she'll never make it! Mavaney shoots downstairs, she's back up and, and......She's got shoes! YEA!!! All the racers are headed for the finish line - the gates are opened, they're on the pavement. They hear it, the bus, It's Coming!! Take those snapshots race fans, they're about to take off!! They can taste the finish line it's so close...wait, here it comes, here it comes & there it goes....What? What's happened? They all missed the finish line? No, the finish line missed them. Make the call Mom - make the call - get that finish line back out there & PRONTO! The racers are confused, they're getting irritable. Oh, it's coming back, okay, they're ready, who will be the first to cross the line. We're anxious. We're waiting some more. And we've missed it again. Folks, I don't know what to tell ya. Mom makes another call - they tell her to wait just a few more moments. It will be there, just wait for it. And here it comes, the finish line, it's just right there, we can see it, almost touch it & no...it's passed us by again. What in the world?!? We're dumbfounded. How can this happen? One last try....Mom makes the call.....She's about to throw in the towel, but they tell her to wait just one more time. This is it, the last chance they have to cross that finish line........will it happen? What's this? #168? But, we're been racin' the #69? What you say? #69 is too far gone? Alright racers, #168 it is! And they've made it! BUT WAIT! MOM'S GOTTA GET THE WINNING SHOT!! A 3 WAY TIE!!! And we've got it! YEA! What a day at the races folks, what a day!
